My Story

Sumayyah-Master Stylist

I am a Master Stylist with over 15yrs of experience in the hair/beauty industry.  I have been educating other stylist and clients in regards of hair techniques, beauty and fashion during my career.  I am a multi-cultural hairstylist whose passion for this industry is not only about providing proper hair care, but to help build confidence by empowering clients with education and customized looks that will enhance their beauty.  Being in this fast-paced industry I strive to continually stay on the cutting edge with the latest and greatest styles and techniques by continuously expanding my education. If there is something I don’t know how to do I will research it and practice it until I have mastered, it!

I am Certified in Hair Extensions; wefts, keratin bonds, micro links, beaded hand tied, and tape-in. I have been trained in multiple systems such as Brazilian Blow Out Treatments, Keratherapy Smoothing Treatment, Relaxer systems; Mizani, Kera Care, and Design Essentials.

I am a Balayage, Ombre and Blonding Specialist.  Coloring for me is when art and science come together to create magic! I love everything about it, from basic coloring, color corrections, color melting, and highlighting.  I also enjoy the precision side of Cutting on both women and men.

It’s amazing when a passion and a career comes together. I have been fortunate to be able to combine my passion for Cosmetology and Empowering others together. As a Cosmetologist, I have the power to change someone’s life and that’s a beautiful thing!
